“Seven Wonders” by Mary Morrissey

A group of students were asked, “What are the seven Seven Wonders of the World?”

Of course the right answers were supposedly the Great Pyramids, Taj Majal, Grand Canyon, Panama Canal, Empire State Building, St. Peter’s Basilica, and China’s Great Wall.

One little girl hesitated, raised her hand and said, “Well, I think the seven wonders of the world are to see, to hear, to touch, to taste, to feel, to laugh, to love.”

There are Seven Wonders of the World right where you are. You are in the midst of them. You are a wonder of the world.

Here’s To The Wonders Around Us,
