“Agree and Disarm” by Mary Morrissey

The edge of our becoming is what we call our adversary. Agree with what looks like it is in your way and allow yourself to become bigger than that adversary.

To agree with your worthy opponent leaves that opponent defenseless and without need of armament. To offer no resistance makes it easy for us to be amicable, and over time, the one who thought they were your enemy finds no further reward in that role and lets go of it. The resistance is released.

We are in a universe of ever-present good. Begin to agree, and begin to disarm.

Here’s To The Path Of Least Resistance,

Mary Morrissey
